Office Assistant in Anchorage, AK
You’ve been looking for a position that supports more flexibility and likely isn’t fulltime, but you don’t want to be bored. You’ve wondered if there is an organization that would give you professional challenges and opportunities for growth, while still balancing the other aspects of your personal life. If you’ve been looking for a place to leverage your high-caliber administrative talents, Resource Data has a position you need to see.
The Anchorage-based corporate team is looking for a part-time office assistant. Be ready to do more than answer phones and sign for packages. You will be the pleasant, responsive, and professional face of Resource Data. It is important the front desk is covered, but there are many other reasons this is a vital position to the business.
- At the center of RDI’s largest office, our employees count on you for completing aspects of their job. Your friendly demeanor means you’re approachable. They appreciate your willingness and ability to always support them, regardless of their offbeat requests or the occasional harried comments.
- Your organized and logical approach to tasks and projects allows others to easily work with you and transfer items among the team. You don’t let the frequent interruptions disrupt your work. Thanks to your presence, the perception is that the office runs with a smooth and predictable flow.
- You have wide-ranging interactions with local staff and staff at other branch offices. You use your sense of humor and unflappable nature to build rapport with people you’ve never met in-person. This allows you to provide services and support to offices outside of Anchorage.
- With your attention to detail, you’re known for being completely reliable when it comes to tasks such as making travel arrangements, planning company parties, doing data entry, or completing administrative projects.
You likely find a lot of satisfaction from helping others, but this isn’t a position without personal benefits. You will gain exposure to many aspects of the company including business administration, accounting, contracts, HR, and technical consulting. Our employees are always working in new environments, with different teams, and overcoming new challenges. Because of that, we’re built to be flexible and so will consider a wide range of work arrangements for the right candidate. We are anticipating the work would require 4-5 days/week and 20-30 hours/week.
