Lead Systems Architect in Anchorage, AK

You’re looking for something unique. This might be it: a position that meshes technical expertise with business acumen and excellent people skills. You’re ready to take on more responsibility and have a positive impact on business outcomes. We’re looking for someone like you.

Several years ago, Resource Data started building out an IT Services group. This was a new venture based on the needs of our clients and the expertise we had gained developing our own network. Since then, the team has grown to 13 Systems Engineers. Although the group continues to manage the Resource Data network, the primary focus is providing consulting services to external clients.

Our IT Services team’s project-based approach provides a work environment with consistent and sustainable schedules. Client engagements provide interesting work in a variety of industries using current technologies. Now that we've formalized this service, demand has grown, and we believe our client base is on track to keep expanding.

Which brings us to why we’re recruiting for a senior position. If you understand the changing demands of the market, current technologies, security risks, and the business environment of our clients, then you would be a key contributor to the continued evolution and success of our business in Alaska.

It is our belief that working on projects is the most effective way to build trust among team members, to establish credibility when meeting with clients, and to keep technical skills sharp. This position is primarily project-focused but would also have some management responsibilities.

As a senior team member, you’d be involved in estimates and proposals, as well as generally promoting Resource Data. Since the primary marketing vehicle for Resource Data is referrals and repeat business, our reputation is paramount. You would oversee and support project teams, helping to deliver quality services and high-value results. You may be involved in sales calls, talking to new clients, identifying unseen risks, and assessing non-obvious opportunities.

Resource Data employees are at the core of what we do, and senior staff are key leaders in this area. As a Lead Systems Architect, you will be involved in the recruiting process and have personnel management responsibilities. You’d be key to the recruitment and retention efforts of a growing team by facilitating career development, mentoring junior staff, helping to create staffing plans, participating in interviews, and developing a network of peers, potential clients, and potential candidates outside of Resource Data.

We expect that in just a few years, the overall capacity and capability of the IT Services group will be significantly higher due to your influence. If you’re interested in learning more, please submit a resume or a URL to your LinkedIn profile.

People, technology, results: That's what Resource Data is built on; that's what we're all about.

Resource Data, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide any visa sponsorship or transfers for this position.
