As a Senior GIS Analyst / Image Analyst with Resource Data, you’ll help design and develop geospatial data and geospatial solutions that elevates enterprise geospatial systems efficiency, performance, and value. Job Responsibilities

  • Integrates non-spatial applications with geospatial information
  • Designs and builds GIS applications and automated workflows
  • Analyzes end user needs to develop GIS solutions following specifications
  • Executes assigned project tasks within established schedule and budget
  • Prepares accurate estimates, writes proposals, and understands imagery analysis using Pix4D
  • Work with clients and project teams to assist with GIS-related development and support their geospatial needs

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience with Geospatial data management, development, and maintenance
  • Experience with GIS data migration projects
  • Experience processing and interpretation of various sources of remotely sensed data, primarily from drone/UAV acquisition, but also satellite. Types include high resolution aerial (visible spectrum/RGB, NIR, thermal), video (flythrough), and lidar (topographic and bathymetric)
  • Ability to generate a variety of imagery products and reports, such as: orthomosaics, digital elevation models (topographic and bathymetric), time-series analysis, change detection
  • Proficient with complex GIS concepts such as Geometric Networks, Topology, Spatial Joins, Spatial Projections
  • Familiarity with ground penetrating radar (GPR) and UAV air quality monitoring data would be helpful, but not required
