Our Team

Welcome to Resource Data’s Portland office, where life is anything but dull. Here, we relish the opportunity to break away from our desks and enjoy a meal with our colleagues. Office gatherings and team parties are regular occurrences, creating an inviting sense of community.

Beyond the office, our team loves to immerse themselves in Portland’s rich culture, from exploring the local arts scene to supporting the Portland Timbers and Thorns. Some of us are passionate about cycling and hiking, while others enjoy a laid-back outing with family and friends. When you join us in Portland, you’re not just joining a team—you’re joining a diverse and dynamic community.

Our Mascot

Pivo, our beloved office mascot, is a gentle and affectionate labradoodle. With his love for back scratches, walks, and greeting everyone, he spreads joy and warmth throughout the day. Additionally, he’s hypo-allergenic, making him a perfect office pet for those with allergies.

Our Work

Whether it’s building systems to support government agencies implement significant regulatory changes like cannabis sales or road usage taxes, or building apps to better manage west coast fisheries, our projects play a vital role in the operations of organizations in Oregon and Washington.

Our client base and the scope of our work reflect the diversity inherent in the Pacific Northwest. Our partnerships span across multiple government agencies, major corporations in sectors like manufacturing and utilities, organizations in the fisheries and natural resources sectors, in addition to companies in the fields of education, finance, and beyond.

Life in and around Portland

Portland, Oregon, is a city that thrives on its unique culture and natural beauty. Home to various world-class breweries and coffee shops, it’s the city for foodies. The surrounding area offers a wealth of outdoor activities, including biking, hiking, and walking through the beautiful rose gardens.

Portland’s vibrant arts and culture scene, exemplified by the numerous murals and music festivals and the world’s largest independent bookstore, adds a unique flavor to city life. Within a 2-hour drive, you can explore the coast, high desert, or multiple glacier-capped peaks. Add in the longest ski season in North America, and you’ll always find something to do.

We think we're swell. But don't just take our word for it.

Eric Martinez
Eric Martinez Business Analyst The location of the office is pretty great. It's within walking distance to everything you’d ever need (great food, shops to run errands, the world’s largest independent bookstore, a trail run over your lunch break, public transit right out the front door, etc.) makes it convenient to fit in life’s other chores before or after the workday.
Chad March
Chad March Technical Lead Everyone is easy to talk to and has interesting backgrounds. There's loads of different experience we’re all bringing to the table that help provide confidence that we have the skills to take on whatever project comes our way.
Rory Dwyer
Rory Dwyer Sr. Programmer I love the Portland branch because everyone here works hard and plays hard, yet somehow the branch has a very relaxed atmosphere. People are very welcoming and there is so much to do right outside of the office. We also have an office dog and a fantastic coffee maker.
